Richard Adamec

Richard is a Barrister with over 40 years of experience in the Criminal Justice System.
He was previously employed in the Magistrates’ Court Service as a legal adviser for some 35 years. Within the Magistrates’ Court Service he was appointed as the Principal Legal Advisor to the Justices and was the Head of the Legal Team at Swansea Magistrates’ Court.
Richard left his role as the head of the legal team in 2013 and commenced his practice in criminal defence work. He soon became an accredited police station representative and Duty Solicitor. He is a trusted and valued member of the SCM Law team and represents clients at the police station, Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court.
Richard is married with two adult children. Outside of work Richard enjoys playing golf and is a board member at the Vale Cricket Club and chairman of the Cricket committee.
