Robert Chudleigh

Robert is a Solicitor Advocate with a wealth of experience in defending clients in all criminal courts. His experience encompasses the full range of serious criminal prosecutions including murder and manslaughter.

As an advocate Robert regularly conducts trials at the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court. He has also successfully argued cases as an advocate at the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division) – see Notable Cases (below).

His caseload over recent years has encompassed defending individuals prosecuted in large scale drug conspiracies (including EncroChat) and multimillion pound frauds.

Robert’s experience also extends to defending clients prosecuted and investigated by the Health and Safety Executive, Local Authorities and Social Care Wales. He advises client on such matters as trading standards prosecutions, houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) prosecutions, Food Hygiene Wales Regulation prosecutions, local authority licencing sub-committee appeals, Social Care Wales interim suspension orders and fitness to practice.

Robert is recommended as a specialist Solicitor with a proven track record. He is a duty Solicitor and is happy to accept instructions in Welsh.
